Azofra

A document from 1168 records Isabel de Azofra establishing a pilgrim hospital with its own oratory and a cemetery specifically for pilgrims. The name Azofra is thought to derive from the Arabic as-suxra ("the tribute") and is documented in forms of the present name from the 11^th century.
