Sigüeiro

Sigüeiro grew beside the medieval bridge over the Rio Tambre, once the key crossing on the road to Santiago de Compostela.

The town also has a long trout-fishing tradition, celebrated each May with the Festa da Troita, which combines fishing competitions with local food and festivities.
